Obituary

Earl Johnson, 60, entered into rest on Saturday, September 12, 2020. He was born November 24, 1959 in Yoakum, TX to the Henry Albert Johnson and Willie Mae Johnson.

He leaves to mourn his wife Charlene Williams; his daughters Veronica Barrnett-Hernon (Mitchell), Elviniecka Carrington (Seandell), LaToya Joseph (Gregory), Nakeisha Williams, and Lakeisha Franklin (Derek); his son Damien Williams (Erica); brothers Milton Johnson, Jessie Johnson, Willie Johnson, and Michael Johnson; sisters Bessie Murphy, Patricia Johnson, and Pamela Johnson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Earl is preceded in death by his brothers Nathaniel Ellison and Allen Johnson.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with services to begin at 10:00 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church in Cuero, TX with Rev. Dr. Mitchell Herndon, officiating. Interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery in Cuero, TX.
