Obituary

Anita Partida Gonzales, 64, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 13th, 2020. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17th from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Highway. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 18th at 1:00pm at Grace Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
 
Anita was born July 30th, 1956 in Richmond, Texas to the late Edward and Mary Velasquez Partida. She loved fishing, gardening, sewing and traveling. She enjoyed going to her weekly Zumba class at the YMCA. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the women's ministry at Jerusalem Family Praise Center. Her faith was inspiring. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
 
She is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Partida; son, Amado Gonzales IV; brother, Joe, Benito and Senobio Partida; sister, Mary Alice Villarreal; and mother-in-law, Angie Gonzales.
 
Anita is survived by her husband of 40 years, Amado Gonzales III; sons, Moses Gonzales (Marybel Flores), Christopher Gonzales, and Stephen Gonzales; daughter, Christina Gonzales (Carlos Zavala); grandchildren, Alyssa Rodriguez, Nicole Rodriguez, Sydney Gonzales, Destiney Gonzales, Maya Gonzales, Gage Gonzales, Gabriel Gonzales, Gracie Gonzales, Elouisa Gonzales and Christian Zavala; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews; along with other loving family members and friends.

My condolences to Sis Anita Partida Gonzales family. I remember Sis Anita working with the Missionettes For Christ Ministry the local chapter at JFPC. Her tremendous work to make sure each child was able to attend the annual MFC Camp.
