Arlin Roy Hauboldt went to be with the Lord June 14, 2019 at the age of 85. He was born January 7, 1934 in Victoria, Texas to the late William H. and Amanda Hauboldt, Sr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Grace Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 21, 2019 at 10:00 am Holy Family Catholic Church, 704 Mallette Drive, Victoria with interment to follow at Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Blake Hartman, Sylvan Rossi, Glenn Stange, Dale Buchholz, Carl Koch and Charlie Kloesel.
Arlin grew up on the Hauboldt farm south of Victoria in the Kemper City Community. He was born the seventh of eight children. He served in the United States Navy for four years, two of which he was aboard the USS O'Bannon in Pearl Harbor, was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a 4th degree council and was a very proud member of KC Council #9088.
Arlin worked in Houston for twelve years in large building air conditioning, heating and maintenance until he married Joyce and he moved to Victoria. He held a first class refrigerant license, first class engineers license and hospital engineer license. Arlin was head engineer at Citizens Hospital for ten years. He also was employed by VISD for many years in air conditioning.
Arlin and Joyce loved to travel. Arlin was an avid fisherman and enjoyed making things from wood. Grandchildren and great grandchildren were a highlight in his life.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers Edgar Hauboldt, Clarence Hauboldt, William Hauboldt, Jr., and Leo Hauboldt; sister Gladys Stange and Adeline Rossi.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce Hauboldt; sister Marjorie Buchholz; daughters Patsy Huehlefeld (Norm) and Debbie Grimes; three grandchildren Tamara Keller, Blake (Rachel) Hartman and Jamye Grimes (Randy) Schroeder and seven great grandchildren.
