My 2nd brother, Bavy, was one of a kind. He loved his family and never wanted to be a burden to anyone. The year 2019 was a difficult one for him health wise...he even told his Dr in April that he wasn't ready to be put 6 ft under, as he was still kickin'! He & his Dr had an open relationship, and he knew his lungs were too far gone. He fought the good fight one step at a time! Jeff and I were with him through it all; when he would call me to send ambulance, we would meet them at his place. I carried my phone with me at work & home in case he needed us. He was certainly a character and over the last several years, he told stories of when he and our other 4 brothers were growing up. I rode with him in the ambulance at 6 PM on Nov 22nd and told him we were NOT going to a nursing home, but to a beautiful new hospital where our younger brother, Bennie, would stay the night with him. We are so grateful for all the times we were able to help him. We truly miss him, and so blessed to have had the precious time with him through the years, even at the very end of his life here and the beginning of his in heaven!
All our love until we meet again, Jeff and Wanda Sparkman Williams
