Bernardo Trevino, Jr. went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 17th, 2019 at the age of 73. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th, 2019 from 5-7pm at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Highway, with a rosary to be recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9am on Thursday, November 21st, 2019 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 208 W. River St. A graveside service will be held at 1pm at Roselawn Memorial Park, off of FM 2540 in Van Vleck.

Bernardo was born December 8th, 1945 in Iago, Texas to the late Bernardo Trevino, Sr. and Petrita Trevino. He enjoyed fishing and playing bingo and dice. He loved to gamble, especially at game rooms. He loved watching western movies and taking day trips to Bay City. He also was a good dancer. He retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 30 years of service. Bernardo was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his children, Bernardo “Ben” Trevino III (Angie) of Arkansas and Susie Verver (Fermin) of Victoria; grandchildren, Anthony (Jessica) Trevino; McArthur III (Aldrena) Perez; Adrian (Brittany) Trevino; Melinda Trevino; Monica Perez; Nichole Trevino (Daniel) Ibarra; Fermin and Dominque Verver; Starla Gueva; April and Creed Galbraith; and Francisco Verver; great-grandchildren, McArthur V. Perez IV; Zenaida Molina; Alana Perez; Nathan Garcia; Alexis Trevino; Adrian Trevino; Ray Anthony Trevino; Ceciley Bonnain; Aaron Arriaga; Ansley Glaze; Mason Galbraith; Chloe Galbraith; Olivia Galbraith; Ivy Verver; Cammora Maldonado and Coryn Maldonado; siblings; Lupita Gonzales of Wharton; Frank Trevino (Andrea) of Victoria; Julia Estraca (Santos) of Bay City; Petra Chavez of Rosenberg; Florence Reyes (Johnny) of Richmond; Eusebia Trevino of Bay City; and Pedro Trevino of Bay City; along with many other numerous loving friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Eva Trevino; son, Jimmy Trevino; grandson, Marcus Lee Perez; siblings, Dominga Lopez, George Trevino and Jose Trevino; son-in-law, McArthur V. Perez, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Frank Gonzales and Richard Chavez.

So many memories to mention but the one that changed my life was that day you took me to buy my first accordion....You believed in me from day 1....I couldn't thank you enough....I miss you and love you dearly....Roll them bones heaven...."Come on Dice!!"
