Obituary

Clifton "Darryl" Miller, 70 a native Texan, passed away at his home, Monday, October 19th, 2020. Family and friends will gather for visitation, Thursday, October 29th from 9:00AM to 11:00AM at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy. in Victoria. A service celebrating Darryl's life and his faith will be held at 11:00AM at Grace Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Darryl was born November 19th, 1949 in Beeville, Texas to the late Clifton Eugene and Betty McWhirter Miller. Darryl was a proud Eagle Scout and he began working in the oilfield industry at the young age of 14 years old on the O'Connor Ranch. He worked for many years as a Manager at "D&B Rental", an oil and gas leasing company. Darryl also co-owned "TC Welding Equipment". He loved his family and friends and rarely met a stranger. Darryl was known for stopping for anyone he thought needed help, food or even money. Darryl was also known as "The Dr. Pepper Man", he always had an ample stock at his home and one in his hand everywhere he went. Darryl was an avid "Trump" supporter and stayed up on all the current politics of the day. He was always very involved in his children's activities and remained a great supporter of the Cuero 4H club. Darryl was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Eugene and Betty McWhirter Miller; brothers, Robert Miller and Jessie Miller.

Darryl is survived by his four children, Clifton David Miller, Jeremy Neal Miller and his wife, Cindy, Timothy Luke Miller and wife, Laura and Tammy Dawn Seeker and her husband, Matthew; 14 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild; six siblings, Sharon Eckert, Dawn Fulbright, Terri Miller, Kristie Miller, Dottie Cardey and Suann Evard; his loving fur baby, "Daisy"; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.

Memorial donations in Darryl's memory may be sent to the Cuero COOP, Cuero 4H or the Girl Scouts of America.
