Creston Lamar Foerster, age 85, passed away June 20, 2019. He was born September 5, 1933, in Goliad County to the late John O. and Laura Dohmann Foerster. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janet "Nat" Heibel Foerster; daughter, Tammy Schulze (Steven); sons, Tim (Janet) and Tracey (Sharon); grandchildren, Travis and Tyler (Casey) Schulze, Trista (Dave) Berry, Scott (Trisha) Foerster, Wendel (Rebecca) Foerster, Corey (Brittany) Foerster, Klent and Dane Foerster; and great grandchildren, Creston and Corbin Schulze, Natalie and Jett Foerster, Peyton and Parker Foerster. He is also survived by his siblings: Hubert Allen, Gerald (Dorothy) Foerster, Joe (Mae) Foerster, Daniel Foerster, Valerie Kainer, Waldine Heine, as well as nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters-in-law, Mary Foerster and Irene Heibel, and brothers-in-law, Ervin Kainer and Lloyd Heibel.
Visitation will be Monday, June 24th, from 5 to 7 p.m. and a rosary to follow at Grace Funeral Home - Goliad. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25th, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Goliad. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Grandchildren will act as pallbearers.
