Obituary

Dorothy Mae Kovarek May, 82, passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 16, 2019. She was born March 5, 1937 to Albin and Agnes Kovarek in Needville, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 10:00 - 11:00 am with a graveside service at 11:00 am at Seadrift Cemetery, Seadrift, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Miles Mills, Johnny Karm Jr., Kenneth May, Robert Bryant, Keith Townsend, and Hardy Mills.

She lived her life loving her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She took great pleasure in growing her flowers, once owning her own flower shop in Seadrift. This year, knowing she couldn't’t get outside to plant her flowers, she started growing them in the house so she could enjoy the pleasure they provided her. She loved to go gambling with her family and play the slot machines and also play her lottery tickets. She was an avid card player, loved to play Hand & Foot Canasta with her friends.

She is survived by her sons Raymond Jr, (Denise); Marcus (Jackie), daughters April Townsend (Keith) and Pamela Mills (Hardy); grandchildren: Christy Bryant (Robert); Ashley Waghorne (Josh); Hunter Leita (Erin); Fisher Leita (FiancΓ© Kaylea Orsak); Miles Mills (FiancΓ© Kaitlin Pokluda) and Stormy Mills; great grandchildren: Aidan Bryant; Lily, Dusty, and Felicity Waghorne; Luke & Piper Leita; step grandchildren: Courtney Rohrer (Mikey), JW and Lisa Mills; Jessica, Samantha, and Kristi Townsend; step great grandsons Cory & Matthew Bryant and step granddaughter Magnolia Rohrer; sisters Lorene Stokes (Jimmy) and Linda Lala (Dennis), and many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 56 years Raymond May Sr.; grandson Dustin May; brothers, Wilbert, Lester Sr., and Melvin Kovarek.

So sorry for your loss. Pleas find comfort in the loving promise from our Heavenly Father Jehovah that we can see our loved ones again right here on earth at John 5:28,29.

I’m sending all my love and prayers to all the May family in the loss of your beautiful Mother πŸ’œ She’s now at peace and in the loving arms of our dear Savior and being reunited with her husband. I can just imagine that great reunion when she closed her eyes and opened them into Heaven.πŸ™πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ˜‡ One day soon we will get to join her and all our loved ones and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who died upon that cross to save us from our Sins. All we have to do is believe in him, ask him into our heart β™₯️ and to forgive us of all our sins and try to start living the best life we can before him. So that when that glorious day comes we will go up to meet Him and all our loved ones again.πŸ™ŒπŸ» I couldn’t imagine being left behind and never seeing them again. Mrs. May made it to her Heavenly home now we just need to make sure we do our best to join herπŸ’œ She was amazing and I’ll never forget our talks at the store way back when about the different lottery tickets 🎫😁 Until we meet again Mrs. May. Save a place for me, and we’re jealous of the Angels πŸ˜‡πŸ’œ those two songs say it all!! Until we meet again!πŸ’œπŸ’πŸŒΈπŸŒΉπŸŒΊπŸ’πŸŒΌπŸŒ·πŸŒΌπŸ₯€πŸŒΉπŸŒ·πŸŒΈπŸŒ·πŸŒΊπŸ’œ
