Edna Morris went to be with the Lord April 3, 2019 at the age of 90. She was born February 9, 1929 in Runge, Texas to the late E.C. and Amanda "Bessie" Mueller.

Family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 am Monday, April 8, 2019 with a funeral service at 10:00 at Zion Lutheran Church, 12183 FM 236, Victoria. Interment will follow at Mission Valley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Morris, Dustin Nagel, Ryan Egg, Samuel Morris, Colby Nagel and Jeremy Egg. Honorary pallbearers are Wade Nagel, Matthew Egg and Timothy Egg.
Edna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She retired after 18 years as an LVN having worked at Citizens Memorial Hospital ICU and Detar Hospital. She loved gardening, cooking, canning, jelly making, sewing and most of all riding her horse King on trailrides locally, Six Flags ride to San Antonio as well as other trails in Texas and riding trails in the mountains.
She loved her children and grandchildren and did a lot of sewing of stuffed animals, quilts and clothing, which they all treasured. She loved raising chicks, having hens, guineas and eggs. She shared her time, knowledge and her bounty with family, friends and neighbors. Edna loved the outdoors, traveling with the RV and fishing at Cedar Bayou, Port O'Connor or New Mexico.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Edwin Mueller and sisters Dorothy Naugle, Lillian Reinecke and Ruby Morris.
Edna is survived by her husband of 72 years, Clifford A. Morris; children Ronald L. (Patricia) Morris, Brenda (Donald) Nagel and Susan (Charles) Egg; sister Bessie Ann Sproles; grandchildren Lanell (Omar) Rachid, Brian (Hollie) Morris, Samuel Morris and fiance Erika Weissman, Sarah Torelli, Dustin Nagel, Colby Nagel, Wade (Michele) Nagel, Ryan (Carrie) Egg, Jeremy (Kari) Egg, Matthew (Angie) Egg and Timothy Egg; numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
