Ernesto was born in Kingsville, Texas on April 20, 1959. He worked in construction as a supervisor for over 25 years. He married Nora on July 28, 1984. On March 10, 1986 he welcomed his first born Wesley and followed by Austin on October 28, 1987. They were the most important part of his life.

Ernesto was a devoted father, he was a very good provider and supported his family in whatever they wanted and needed. He was a homebody, he loved watching his western and action movies. He was also a very big fan of the Rockets, the Astros and the Texans. Sunday's for him was always a time for praise and worship at Lakewood Church while Joel Osteen's preaching never failed to uplift his mind, heart and spirit. Dancing Mexican and Country music was his passion back in the days with his wife Nora. He also enjoyed shooting pool with his son Wesley and his brothers. He was the life of the party making everyone laugh at family gatherings. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, his puppies Bella, Buddy and Sorenson and all those who knew him.
