My wife Gladys and I had the pleasure to be introduced to Ethel when we lived in Coeur D' Alene Idaho. Dad and Ethel (Mom) came for their first visit Ethel was a gracious lady it was very odd that in so many ways she was like our mother who just a couple of years earlier went to meet the Lord as Dear Ethel has now. the picture I have placed is a wonderful memory I have of the last time Our son Tony and I went to visit. After dad went to bed in the evenings Ethel and I sat up for hours at the table talking about life and their marriage. Ether loved our dad, She completed his life. Over 20 years she helped put all the pieces back together that fell apart after the loss of our mom. Ethel often told me how Dad filled the empty place in her life as well. There was no question the Ethel and Dad loved each other, It was evident. this photo is the last time Tony and I were together with both of them. it is a very special memory after a day at the Lulan BBQ I and all of the family here will miss them both and look forward to seeing them when we pass over to see the Lord Jesus. I am confident they are with him now. May the Lord comfort the rest of her family as they themselves go through he long difficult grieving process. Ethel loved Our Father Robert Orchard as well he loved, cared and prayed for her children there in Texas. I pray the Spirit of God will comfort us all.
