Grandma. Where do I begin? I was blessed to be able to spend time with you during your last 3 days on earth with us. Watching your strength and fight is something I will NEVER forget. I can only hope that I have half the strength you do because I can't fathom life without you and Grandpa. My entire life you both were just right next door anytime we needed you. I remember countless times asking you for sugar or tomatoe sauce lol and even any extra material or sewing supplies you might have had every time Mom and I were working on a project. You never hesitated to offer what you had. As kids I was always with Grandma in her Big Old Red Van shopping and going out to eat all the time. She was my babysitter while my parents worked. I got to witness her create Quincenera dresses for several of the girls in our community. Grandma was our go-to seemstress and she was so good at it. She was great at crocheting too. She spent countless hours trying to teach me and I kinda sorta got it. But I could never create like she did. Everytime I would ask her "Grandma remember when you tried to teach me? or remember this or that? her response was always "ooohhh si" lol or if i was ever upset about something or someone she would always tell me "mija F the people. Be strong girl and live." I love you Grandma and I will never forget your advice or all the memories we shared together. Give Grandpa a hug for me.
