Obituary

Javier "Pito" Garcia went to be with the Lord November 19, 2019 at the age of 49. He was born September 27, 1970 in Port Lavaca, Texas to Johnny and Mary Garcia.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Grace Funeral Chapel, 1604 W. Austin Street, Port Lavaca. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 11:00 am at Grace Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Port Lavaca Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jesus and Quirina Cuellar and his father-in-law Willie Martinez.

Pito is survived by his wife of 30 years Christina Martinez Garcia; children Xavier Roland Garcia and the mother of Xavier's children, Denise Barrera, Kyara Garcia Zambada and her husband Andrew, Christopher Bash Garcia and Fabian Santiago Garcia; parents Johnny and Mary Garcia; brothers John Anthony Garcia and Joe Carlos "Joey" Garcia; grandchildren Xavier Roland Garcia, Jr., Desirae Xayda Garcia, King Isaac Zambada, and Andre Legend Zambada; mother-in-law Guadalupe Martinez and numerous other loving family members.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He enjoyed being around his family especially his grandchildren, attending sports events, outdoor activities including fishing, barbequing, football and playing pool. He also enjoyed giving back to his community through various fundraisers.
