Joe E. Srubar passed away April 23, 2020 at the age of 82.  He was born January 29, 1938 to the late Joe A. and Mary J. Morisak Srubar.  He was their only child but he loved spending time with his extended family. His Aunt Jane and Aunt Annie were two favorites. Many laughs were shared under the shade trees in the yard and at family gatherings and at church picnics.
He is survived by his children Connie Soule, John Srubar and wife Kitty, Laurie Srubar-Kiening and husband Jim, and Melanie Torrence and husband Randy; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and cousins.
Joe had worked in different areas of employment and had many business adventures.  His favorite part of his job was the people he met and talked to everyday. After he retired, he enjoyed his yard, gardening, going to the beach and hanging with his friends.  A big red tomato in his garden always made him smile. The smell of freshly mowed grass was the sign of a successful day. He loved music as well, but particularly, Hank Jr and Johnny Cash. He related to men who were strong and independent living the simple life.

Joe was loved by many because he accepted you as you are, was a great listener and could always make you smile. The world will miss this simple legend of a man.
