My father O Lee Schulze and John were in school and one day they cut the afternoon classes to go swimming in the San Antonio river at the end of Fairy street. My father dived into the river and did not come up. John dived in and pulled him out. Dad had hit his head which knocked him out. My father died in 1982 an never told me the story. I retired in 2009 an returned home after 28+ years with DuPont and John told me the story in the old senior citizen center. If it were not for John I would not be here. Ever since he has been my God Father.
Thanks John and would you please tell Dad & Mother hello. May God Bless your family.
