Obituary

Jose Mario "Rozzay" Lozoya, Jr., went to be with the Lord July 9, 2020 at the age of 36. He was born October 13, 1983 in Victoria to Jose Mario Lozoya and Maria Guadalupe Lozoya.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 pm at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy., Victoria. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his mother Maria Guadalupe Villarreal.

He is survived by his father Jose M. Lozoya; sister Suzie Villarreal; nephew Raiden Martinez; grandparents Gilbert Lara and Aurelia Ramon; brother Jeremy; sister Stephanie; uncles Gilbert (Jenna) Ramon and Diego Ramon; cousins Joseph Poncio, Lena Ramon, Joaquin Ramon, Lillie Ramon, Diego A. Ramon and Felix Ramon and a host of friends.

Jose served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corp. as a combat engineer. He did 2 combat tours in Iraq, the first in Fallajah and the second in Al Asad. He was decorated with the Combat Action Ribbon. He was a member of the Marine Corp League. He was a member of the A.C.T.S. Community. Rozzay was also a devout member of the Calaveras Motorcycle Club.
