Obituary

Jose Valdemar Sepulveda, 73, passed away on Saturday, October 12th, 2019. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 17th, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Highway with a rosary to be recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 18th, 2019 at 9:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows, 208 W. River Street, with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Jose was born January 1st, 1946 in Robstown, Texas to Miguel Sepulveda and Domitila Mota. He married the love of his life, Beatriz Martinez, February 2nd, 1974 and had two daughters. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and could always be found watching the game with a cold one in his hand. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his two dogs, Angel and Shadow.

Jose will be remembered and loved by his wife of over 45 years, Beatriz Sepulveda; his daughters, Erica Zarbock and Maricell Rios and her husband, Ruben; his grandchildren, James Zarbock, Haley Newport and her husband, Jeffery, and Destiny Rios; and his great-great granddaughter, Ellie Newport; along with numerous other loving family members and friends. 

Jose was preceded in death by his mother, Domitila Mota.

Memorial donations in Jose’s memory may be made out to Hospice of South Texas.
