Larry Lange, 84, has gone to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 11, 2019. He was born on September 16, 1934 to the late Oscar and Evelyn Kerlick Lange in Goliad, Texas.

He graduated from Goliad High School in 1952, where he excelled in all sports. He attended college at Sul Ross University and Texas Lutheran University. He was a veteran of the United Sates Army. He then went into the cable business for over 32 years. He was in the ranching business for many years. He also was an avid hunter and fisherman. He dedicated many years to wildlife management. He was one of the founding members of Goliad County Wildlife association.
He is survived by daughter Melanie (James) Merritt of Austin; son William (Araceli) Lange of Cuero; grandchildren Bethany (Sean) Willemin of Goliad, Brittney Lange of Cuero; great-grandchildren Brynley Willemin. Numerous cousins. Also, by long time companion Jo Rae Lange.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers include Sean Willemin, Stephen Lange, Matt Lange, Charles Eichman, Darren Bammert,and Mike Holland. Honorary pallbearers include Steve Paulsgrove, Dennis Shay, Robert Delagarza, EJ Bammert, Sherriff Kirby Brumby, Georgia Lee Swickheimer, John Callentine.
Visitation will be held at Grace Funeral Home in Goliad Texas, Sunday April 14, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday April 15, 2019 10:00. a.m. at Grace Funeral Home Goliad Chapel, with David Parks Officiating. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Goliad Texas, with Military Honors by American Legion Post 193.
