The angels called Louis Marbach 85, of Victoria home on May 30, 2019 after fighting a courageous battle with Alzheimer. Family and friends will gather for visitation and rosary, Monday, June 3rd at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Hwy in Victoria from 6:00PM to 8:00PM with rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00PM, Tuesday, June 4th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 105 N. Williams in Victoria, with Father Albert Yankey officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Travis Marbach, John Hirschhauser, Brandon Dentler, Rodney Korczynski, Tommy Marbach and Delton Marbach.

He was born January 23, 1934 to Frank and Selma Selzer Marbach. He married Olivia "Tootsie" Beinhauer October 15, 1955 and shared 63 years together.
Louis retired after 37 years with Trunkline Gas Company. He then worked part time for Lone Star Beer driving semi trucks doing pick-up and deliveries.
In his spare time you'd find him playing dominos with family and friends and showing off his talent at the Texas State Championship in Hallettsville with trophies hanging proudly on the wall.
Louis was a devout Catholic and a lifetime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, where he served as usher and a member of the Holy Name Society. He also led the rosary for 20+ years at the 7:30 mass.
Survivors include his wife Olivia "Tootsie" Marbach; son, Richard (Debra) Marbach; daughter, Mary (Michael) Hirschhauser; brother, Frank Marbach of Victoria; six grandchildren, Travis Marbach, Trista Marbach Korczynski, John Hirschhauser, Julie Hirschhauser Dentler, Courtney Marbach, Heather Marbach; 10 great-grandchildren, Kutter, Haize, Sage, Hailey, Kayden, Ethan, Peyton, Jax, Layton, Bryce; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by son, Michael Marbach; brothers, Edward, Dennis, Weldon, Alton; sisters, Betty Jo Marbach, Alice Tuch and Gladys Huber.
