Louis retired after 37 years with Trunkline Gas Company. He then worked part time for Lone Star Beer driving semi trucks doing pick-up and deliveries.
In his spare time you'd find him playing dominos with family and friends and showing off his talent at the Texas State Championship in Hallettsville with trophies hanging proudly on the wall.

Louis was a devout Catholic and a lifetime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, where he served as usher and a member of the Holy Name Society. He also led the rosary for 20+ years at the 7:30 mass.

Survivors include his wife Olivia "Tootsie" Marbach; son, Richard (Debra) Marbach; daughter, Mary (Michael) Hirschhauser; brother, Frank Marbach of Victoria; six grandchildren, Travis Marbach, Trista Marbach Korczynski, John Hirschhauser, Julie Hirschhauser Dentler, Courtney Marbach, Heather Marbach; 10 great-grandchildren, Kutter, Haize, Sage, Hailey, Kayden, Ethan, Peyton, Jax, Layton, Bryce; and numerous nieces and nephews.
