Lula Mae Glazner, 91, passed away Friday, August 30th, 2019. Lula was born May 17th, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas to Roy L. and Loma Lee Hutton. In high school, she met the love of her life, Dan Glazner. In 1946, after Dan returned from World War II, they got married. They were married for 72 years. After receiving her bachelor's degree from Southwest Texas State University, she started teaching in Victoria. Throughout the years she has taught at O'Connor, Shields and Vickers Elementary, Howell Middle School and Victoria Christian.

Lula was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Loma Hutton.
Lula is survived by her daughters, Cathy Waley and husband, Ed and Donna Nondorf and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Wendi Olinger and husband, Glen, Clay Waley and wife, Bree, Sarah Evans and husband, Jeffry, and Katie Cantu; great-grandchildren, Ian Olinger, Ava Olinger, Lily Evans, Merit Waley and Wilder Waley. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Hearthstone Health Center and Compassus Hospice for the care they gave Mrs. Glazner.
