I haven’t seen Manuel in years. We were very good friends through high school. When I went in the service and would come home on leave I would always look forward to hanging out with him. Always a blast. I know how much he cared for his parents and siblings. He talked about them all quite a bit. I know he will be missed by them. I have great memories of him. Manuel would always see the good in others and was happy to share his true self with others. Life is fleeting, so we should all remember to carry a little bit of that spirit with us. Rest In Peace my old friend.

Dear Joe and Sandra, I was sorry to hear of your brother’s death. In seeing the obituary, it was striking to see the family resemblance. You both are in my thoughts and prayers. Pat Vernino
