He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, David Archie Williams and Mary Alma Wooldridge, two brothers, J.D. Williams and L.C. Williams (Sugarfoot), and baby sister, Marjorie Blanche.
He always had a kind word or a silly joke to brighten someone's day. Those who knew him got a laugh out of his numerous "natural" cures for ailments. He loved his trips to Colorado, and around the state of Texas investigating his ancestry. He enjoyed anything outdoors and working in his garden. He loved his camping trips to the beach with his family. Being on the water around the Texas coast brought him peace and happiness throughout his whole life.
Denny was a lifelong shrimper and Seadrift resident, exceptional father, amazing grandfather, and faithful husband. He will be missed by all those who loved him.
Flowers are welcome, but in lieu of flowers, you may make donations in Denny's name to Friends of Aransas and Matagorda Island National Wildlife Refuge, and prayers are also welcome.
